O2014 season has come to an end - the south daytona Athletics had a strong record of dirt digging, flower picking and some baseball too!

A Snow Day!

Vacation Time 2014

We headed to Beech Mountain North Carolina for the second year in a row. They had a big snow storm, and we ended up being snowed in the last two days. But we had a blast, making a snow igloo, a very modest snowman, and spending good quality time together.

Edmund got to snowboard at night this time, it is really cool to watch the slopes, with lights and being able to sit on the porch and here people come down the mountain. We had a fire in the fireplace every night. Matthew took a couple days to get used to wearing gloves and a hat, he kept taking them off and then crying because he was cold. They also had a blast swimming in the indoor pool, go figure.

The drive home was a bit crazy, I-95 was closed and we were diverted and then they were paving the highway a few hours later. Took about 4 extra hours to get home. The boys were great on the drive, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Christmas 2013

1st Christmas with 4 boys!! Baby Michael arrived November 25th just in time for Thanksgiving!

This year both boys "got" what Santa was all about. We watched lots of Christmas movies, our favorites were: Curious George Christmas Monkey, Polar Express and National Lampoon Christmas Vacation.

Benjamin's wish list included a popcorn machine, a big batman toy and Matthew wanted "baby toys"

We got to see Santa at the mall and also got a ride in his sleigh when we went to look at Christmas lights. Benjamin learned a lot of Christmas Carols at school and Matthew learned a lot of Christmas Carols from Benji. Of course, he messed up the words a bit. We heard "Dingle Bells, Dingle Bells" every day the entire month of December.

The big surprise for the boys this year was a lime green (just like PaPa's) Artic Cat Power Wheel Truck. Their eyes lit up!
